Our mission is to boost teen mental resilience and overall well-being through MiMental Mindset, our after-school initiative at Thornton Township in Harvey, IL – the alma mater of our founders, Melvin and Monique Rodriguez.
Our Founders
Melvin and Monique Rodriguez were teenagers when they found the love of a lifetime, in the halls of Thornton High School. While they envisioned their future, little did they know that when their paths forged, that they would build a legacy that would change the lives of millions of people. This legacy would include Mielle Cares.
Recognizing the minimal resources to teens for mental health care, they committed their life's work to providing those resources while simultaneously creating a generational cycle of success and prosperity in the community that cultivated them. Melvin and Monique Rodriguez aim to build the next generation of trailblazers by shifting their mindsets.
